Vintage Murano glass, long, striped oval Venetian beads, approximately 40mm long x 10mm wide, with 24 karat gold foil.  Each bead is a lampworked bead, made one by one under the flame.  

We hand picked these beads, back in the '70s, when we were searching for beads in Murano, Italy, in the back stock room of one of our old sources.
